![]() ![]() Im looking for links to that already exists if possible. Resource Type: Any tiles that would go into the B-E Tileset. Most of the artists who are still involved with RPG Maker will be on those sites, and so they are likely to provide the most recent resources and ToS on those sites, and are easier to contact with questions on those sites. EDIT: This isnt for a whole tileset, just a small few tiles or tile edits. No commissions, just possible already existing resources. I'd say, stick to RMN (), VXAN (), and RMW (). Not to mention, some aren't around anymore, and some don't visit any of the old sites to bother updating anything anymore. They have a darker, more serious look and feel than Ace's RTP. modRoxen010 We do not allow ripped resources on this site. However it still works quite well in Ace. However, old habits die hard, and a lot of people still don't. Mack's are designed for VX which for some weird reason only allowed one tileset, so it is very packed but limited by necessity. In recent months, there have been pushes to get artists to provide detailed ToS for their work, and I think many of them have started doing that. to learn the basics into the more advanced of coding for RPMVXA Whats all the languages required to code a general script in the game, etc. Since then, the shift has gone more towards commercial (especially with the recent commercial editions to RMN and the focus of commercial at RMW). Im trying to get into scripting for RPGM VX ACE and was wondering where/how Id begin learning to make scripts. ![]() Do not directly link to the raw script code. Do not add non-English scripts to this list unless it is translated. Thus, you have total control over exactly what tiles you move around on and do NOT need to change maps or replace Tilesets. Adding Scripts to the VX Ace Master Script List Want to help out with maintaining the Master Script List Here are some guidelines: This list is for English scripts only. I can't believe Enterbrain / Kadokawa thought doing that was a good idea. TBH at that point you're better off using Ace instead. Well, unless you use some kind of scripting. The tilesets go in the System folder, but you're limited to the one set. In order to get Boats to work correctly, I had to do a lot of stuff just for making Passable work. RPG Maker VX (version before Ace) was a bit trickier. Most communities were forums built for non-commercial projects, and it was a common practice to assume that unless otherwise stated, the resources were for non commercial use only, and you'd need to contact the artist (scripter, composer, etc) to negotiate commercial use. My Vehicle script (once released) wont be for novice users because it has so many features. Keep in mind that up until the last two years, RPG Maker was primarily a hobbyist tool, commercial games were few and far in between, and about the only two places you could easily house a commercial game on was Aldorlea or Amaranth. ![]()
